Buckeye Harmonica Festival 2002
April 18-20, 2002 Clarion (Radisson),
7007 N. High - Worthington, Ohio
I highly recommend immersing yourself in the harmonica at this great harmonica festival. You will meet, jam with, learn from and listen to many of the greatest harp players and teachers around, including but not limited to Joe Filisko, Buzz Krantz, Madcat Ruth, Bob Mehan, Doug Tate, Sandy German and many others. Lots of jamming, performance, seminars and teach-ins. Attending events like Buckeye is one of the fastest ways to learn about all aspects of harmonica playing. (Unfortunately Jon will not be attending this year.)
Festival Fee $90/full pkg - Room booking $70/nite (614) 436-0700

YELLOW PINE HARMONICA FEST (and Contest) August 2 through 4, 2002 Yellow Pine Adaho Call 208-633-4635 or 633-300 This is the 13th annual contest in rustic Yellow Pine, which is accessible by dirt road only, and has no atms, and does not accept credit cards. What they do have is beautiful country, a great campground, a general store and all the jammin', harmonica playing and good times one man, woman, couple or family can stand. The contest is a really big deal, and is for amateurs only.
